Turin Networks, a global provider of multiservice optical transport solutions for carrier, wireless and private networks, today announced the appointment of William Zerella as chief financial officer (CFO) and vice president of finance & administration. Zerella brings more than 25 years of industry experience to Turin, having lead financial organizations at a number of public and private technology companies.

Prior to joining Turin Networks, Mr. Zerella was CFO at Infinera where he was instrumental in scaling the company's business during a period of dramatic growth. Prior to Infinera, Mr. Zerella held CFO positions at Calient Networks, as well as Logictier, and also held senior executive finance positions at GTECH Corporation, and Deloitte & Touche.

Mr. Zerella earned a BS in Accounting from the New York Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
